The Orpington and Bromley Gateway Club is a social and support club for adults (16+) with learning disabilities/difficulties.

The Orpington and Bromley Gateway Club has been running for over 50 years and are now looking to the next 50 as we continue to be a valued social club for our members.

Our club runs a variety of different activates every week, including an art session monthly, sports with a qualified sports coach, armchair/wheelchair sports and massage once a month along with weekly live entertainment, with cover bands such as the ABBA girls, Elvis to name a few.

 

We are a friendly hardworking group of volunteers with a core group of dedicated helpers, who attend every week, to ensure that a brilliant evening is had by all.

We have parties for members, outings to the theatre once or twice a year, and we trip to organise at least one outing to the coast or zoo or anywhere else that members wish to go.

 

The club is open every Friday night apart from Easter, Christmas/New year and one Friday in June when the Church holds its annual summer fair .

Usual hours are 7pm until 9pm (ish) for adults 18+ years with learning difficulties, parents and carers, and we welcome new or returning members with open arms.
